Howdy, all! I hope you are having a wonderful Sabbath so far. I know ours is off to a good start, and we are all looking forward to the rest.

Not much to say tonight, save for two things: One, we have some among us who are going through difficult times, including the death of a loved one. Please do remember each other in your prayers, but more than that (or at least alongside that) consider mentioning an encouraging word to your brother or sister. They don’t always want or need advice or to hear from someone who has just the “right words” to say, and it is amazing what service you provide just by listening sometimes.

And secondly, here’s my Friday Night Greetings for this week! Please note: for some reason I say in this video that I am striving to finish some writing by the middle of “September” instead of the middle of “December.” Why, I have no idea, other than, perhaps, because I was thinking of the Feast at that moment (which comes up in the video). However, I can assure you that I did not film this video in the fall only to air it today as a part of some secret conspiracy, as is often suspected of Osama bin Laden’s tapes. Conspiracies take much more organization than I am capable of.

Howdy, all! Sorry about being Missing in Action last Friday. I’m afraid things were a bit hectic. And, while they have been hectic this week, as well, I have repented.

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was wonderful, as was the entire trip to Texas/Charlotte/Texas, in fact! But it is very good to be home, and I am looking forward to the things that lie ahead in the days and weeks in front of me. We are all looking forward to seeing you in the near future as we try to get back into a regular schedule.

(BTW: We have changed our e-mail address, and I will endeavor to give you the new one in the announcements for this Sabbath, which I will be sending out to each area in the next few moments. However, (1) the old Charter one will work through the rest of December, and (2) if you use my LCG.org address, you don’t need to change anything. In fact, the LCG.org address is always a safe bet, because we ensure it is always updated to forward to our current e-mail address (thanks to the diligent I.T. hands taking care of such things at HQ) and because it gets us to us just as fast as using our other address directly.)
