Howdy, everyone! I hope that your week has gone wonderfully! For a short week after a three-day weekend, it sure has felt like a long week.
Camp preparation continues to go very well, though I wouldn’t say perfectly smoothly. In endeavors such as this there are frequently last minute surprises that require adjustments, but nothing so far that has been a major difficulty. Your continued prayers for the Missouri Pre-teen camp would be appreciated. It’s a great way our area gets to serve the larger church!
We are excited about seeing everyone on Washington this Sunday for Pentecost services. With Sabbath services tomorrow followed by Pentecost the next day, it’s almost like a mini-Feast!
Take care, and the greetings video for tonight is below.
Howdy, again! Our May has been full of road trips, but they will settle down, soon, after this trip to Springfield to serve on the Sabbath. We will do our best to be homebodies after that until Camp which is nearing at a frightening pace!
My apologies that the scheduling has been so weird lately. The weirdness will continue a bit with camp in June and another trip in early July (this time, to Texas and then from there to Charlotte). But, I will endeavor to make life as normal as possible during the “in-between” periods.
“Normal life” including Bible Studies — as mentioned in last week’s announcements (and, again, in this week’s) the dates for Bible Studies in June have been set, and you will find a link to the relevant booklet by clicking on the “Booklet Links” tab above. You will also find there a link to a downloadable PDF file of the self-quiz we will be using.
We hope all is well with each of you as Pentecost nears! The Friday Night Greetings video is below.
Howdy, everyone! How great to be back — in time to turn around to go to Joplin.
The trip was wonderful, but I will save my comments about it for the video, below. I know that some of you were keeping up on Twitter, but I did have a “lost time” there for a few days when the script preparation got so intense that I couldn’t spare any calories for Tweeting.
If you’ve e-mailed me or left a phone message over the last few days, I really will get to them ASAP. We’ll be leaving for Joplin tomorrow morning for Sabbath services and the conference, but we should be back before too late on Monday and I will get to your requests and concerns as quickly as I can.
The Friday Night Greetings video is below. Have a wonderful Sabbath!
Well, we are now safely in Charlotte! It was quite a blustery, rainy drive, but the sky looks wonderfully clear now as sunset is just about an hour or two away. Many thanks to my amazing wife who drove virtually the whole things herself while I banged away on the keyboard working on my scripts.
Tonight’s Friday Night Greetings video is below. Have a wonderful Sabbath!
No, no, no, it isn’t a cave. It just looks a bit dark on the video. I’ve been trying to record my videos outside where it’s been nice and bright, but today a busy schedule all the way up until sunset kept me from doing so. (Not that’s it’s been too bright outside these days…)
Nothing more to say here that I don’t say on the video or in announcements tomorrow, though I will point out that the post right below this one contains a link to the Bible Study quiz for The United States and Great Britain in Prophecy, which is our next Bible Study. (As for the dates of those Bible Studies, tune in to announcements tomorrow!)
Have a wonderful evening, and the Friday Night Greetings video is below.
Howdy, everyone! Since I didn’t yet have copies of the quiz for “The United States and Great Britain in Prophecy” available last time for passing out, I have uploaded a copy here: CLICK FOR COPY. So, you can simply click and download for yourself! (You will need the local username and password.)
