Howdy, all! I submit tonight’s Friday Night Greetings as visual proof that I did, indeed, survive pre-teen camp.
Actually, this was — by far — the best camp year I have experienced, and my thanks goes out to all who were a part of it.
However, my lack of easy Internet connectivity meant that some of you did not get announcements last Sabbath. My apologies for that! Next year, I will try to think ahead more successfully.
Have a wonderful Sabbath! The video for tonight is below. (And, I must say that on looking at the posting below from two weeks ago, I’m missing Mr. Arseneault already. What a neat guy — and what a neat family! If you missed that one, scroll on down and check it out.)
P.S. For some reason the audio for the video seems to lag a bit. Not sure why, but I don’t have time to try and re-upload it to see if I get an improvement. So, just pretend you are watching a foreign film being dubbed into English.
Howdy, all! With camp bearing down on us, this week has been a rather focused one. Thankfully, things are going very well, and your prayers are being heard.
Speaking of things going well, one of those things that has gone well has been the arrival of Mr. & Mrs. Marc Arseneault to our home today! He is here from the Canadian office to teach our canoeing class and will be giving the sermon tomorrow in St. Louis.
Have a wonderful Sabbath! The Friday Night Greetings video is below — and for a nice change, you get more than just me!
(P.S. My apologies that the volume is a bit loud. I am still getting used to the new webcam I have, and I need to adjust the sound to accomodate its better microphone. You might want to adjust the volume on your computer accordingly!)
Howdy, everyone! It was wonderful seeing everyone together on Pentecost, and I hope you all had a safe and event-free drive home.
It was good to have Bible Study this past week in Columbia, and the one after camp in Illinois is still on. However, since my family and I will be out for more than half of July, I think we will need to postpone those mid-week Bible Studies to August.
The Friday Night Greetings video is below. Have a beautiful and meaningful Sabbath this weekend!
(Also: Those who bring sermon videos for services in which you are not scheduled for a live speaker for the sermon need to check the new schedule for June. The sermon speakers have been shuffled around and you may need to bring a video for different Sabbaths than you previously thought.)
Howdy, all! We have updated the Speaking Schedule for the month of June. There are no changes to songleaders or sermonettes, only to sermon speakers. Given the effect of camp on the month, the fact that I will need to be in St. Louis the Sabbath before camp, and the fact that I will probably be gone for the first two to three Sabbaths of July, this seemed a wiser arrangement.
