I can’t write much — I really need to help get my kids to bed (and when it comes to putting them to bed, that task is similar to herding cats). So, we’ll just go straight to the Friday Night Greetings! The video is below.
Actually, I do have one more thing: The LCG Music Weekend is NEXT WEEKEND! Be sure to register by clicking on the link above or to the right — we’ll need to finalize some plans at the beginning of this coming week, and having accurate counts is a big help!

It has taken a while to get this posted. I was experiencing some sort of difficulty that I thought was server related. But I called the server’s owner, and he was able to access the site just fine. I was able to access the rest of the Internet, it seems — well, I didn’t try the entire Internet, I suppose — but this site simply wouldn’t load. I couldn’t even pull up the cPanel (for those who might know what that is).
But, all is well, now! Whatever alien attack the website was experiencing, it’s over now. And apparently we won! Yay!
I don’t have much in the way of announcements, as I have put most of that into the announcements that will be read tomorrow at services. So, how about we just scoot on over to the Friday Night Greetings! They are below.
Wow — as many of you (if not all of you) know, sometimes sundown is simply more awesome than it is at other times. Sometimes that’s due to how spectacularly beautiful it looks, then at other times it’s because it represents the beginning of the Sabbath after a particularly rough day (or week). Well tonight’s was the latter for me! What a week! And it climaxed in quite a Friday.
But, here we are! Yay for the Sabbath! I hope yours is off to a GREAT start! The numbers are really growing for the LCG Music Weekend — if you haven’t signed up yet, get on over there! Even if you plan on going to the event to and from your own home, we still need you to sign up so that we have an accurate count for cost and planning purposes.
Also, over at our Branson Festival Website, there is now a form available so that you can sign up for every single Festival Activity and pay for the related tickets, all at one time. No more waiting at the Information Table, no more paying several times for multiple tickets — take care of it all at once. Go check it out! You can start at the Activities page (link at the top). More detailed pages for some of the activities will be available soon.

Howdy, everyone! The video below should be fairly short (do I always say that?), as I was being hounded by mosquitos at the time. Still, with the noise going on in the house, this was the best place to shoot tonight’s Friday Night Greetings. (Not bad noise, mind you — e.g., Boy #1 vacuuming the house in prep for the Sabbath.)

At the bottom of the page is a link to the registration form; everyone coming needs to register, whether you are camping or “hoteling” and whether you are playing music or just coming to listen. We need accurate counts, so please register ASAP by clicking on the link at the bottom of that page.

My apologies! A deadline for a Tomorrow’s World magazine submission has had me in a bind up until this very moment, so the page for the LCG Music Weekend information and registration is still not up. HOWEVER, it is my intention to have it up before my head hits the pillow tonight! So, please — don’t give up! It is coming!
